2022 Business Leader and Business of the Year Award Winners!

The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce Announces Business Awards Luncheon Honorees

PUEBLO, March 31, 2022-The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce will hold its Business Awards Luncheon, Thursday, April 14th, from 11:30am-1:30pm. The luncheon will be held at the Pueblo Union Depot. Our Luncheon is Presented by Legacy Bank and Corporate Sponsors: AMR, Black Hills Energy, Angelus Chapel and D&D Marketing. The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce will present the Business of the Year Award and the “Charles W. Crews” Business Leader Award.

Business of the Year

The Business of the Year Award will be presented to Pueblo Community Health Center. The Pueblo Community Health Center has remained dedicated to their duties of providing primary health care services to Pueblo’s underserved population since 1983. Pueblo Community Health Center offers integrated care to its patients. Their practice model emphasizes a trusting relationship with a Primary Care Provider.

The goal of Pueblo Community Health Center is better care for patients and they place importance on comprehensive, continuous attention for improved health outcomes. Their passion and drive for serving Pueblo’s underserved has resulted in repeated expansions throughout Pueblo. In January 2022, Pueblo Community Health Center opened its 64,000 square foot East Side facility. This facility will deliver team-based, integrated primary medical, behavioral, oral health care, pharmacy, laboratory, and case management services.     

“Charles W. Crews” Business Leader Award

The “Charles W. Crews” Business Leader Award will be presented to Andrew Trainor, Regional President of Legacy Bank. Trainor started his banking career in 1981 as a management trainee. During his career, Trainor has served in many different capacities in banking, from a teller to President and CEO. In 2004, Trainor with Dave and Frederick Esgar decided to combine forces and start the Legacy Bank expansion. Since that time, the bank has grown from a 60 million one location bank to a nearly 500 million 9 location bank. Trainor graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo with a degree in Mass Communications and Political Science. In 1986, he became a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at The University of Colorado.
