Steelworks Museum of Industry and ScienceÂ – 215 Canal St., Pueblo, CO 81004 | (719) 564-9086 – The Steelworks Museum is housed in the former CF&I Medical Dispensary. It features exhibits related to all facets of the CF&I, including the history of mining, labor history, history of steel production, railroad history, as well as history of Pueblo and Colorado and the CF&I’s impact on the region.

The Center’s Vision is to serve as a source for future generations to learn and explore how doing the right thing for family, community and country will keep America great. The Center’s current inter-active exhibit features over 140 portraits of Medal of Honor recipients. No admission charge and groups are welcome.

Colorado State FairÂ – (719) 561-8484 – Held the last week of August, the Colorado State Fair is a celebration of the people, agriculture, art, music, natural resources and industries that collectively display the culture and livelihood of Colorado. The Colorado State Fairgrounds welcomes dozens of concerts, livestock shows, carnival rides, horse shows, professional rodeo and creative art exhibits.

Located in City Park, it exhibits more than 350 animals from 122 species, including several endangered. The zooâs lovely gardens invite relaxing picnics.
