32nd Annual La Posada Celebration! The origin of this Mexican celebration dates from the 1550’s. The procession represents the nine-day journey Mary and Joseph made to Bethlehem. Upon arriving there, they sought lodging (posada) but were turned away before finally being offered a place in a stable. Events begin at 3pm and include: 3pm - Aymoray School of Dance at the Pueblo Convention Center and at 4pm the House32nd Annual Community Celebration of La Posada procession begins at the Convention Center, moving down Main Street to the County Court House. Once at the Court House enjoy performances by Pueblo School for Arts & Science, Pueblo Choral Society, Mariachi de Pueblo, and more!
