The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce will hold their 102nd Annual Meeting and “Citizen of the Year” presentation Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Pueblo Convention Center, 320 Central Main Street. The evening will begin at 6:00pm with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction. Dinner and program will follow at 7:00pm.
Keynote Speaker, Richard Olivier will be delivering Inspirational Leadership using lessons from Henry V to motivate and inspire individuals to practice and perfect extraordinary leadership. Richard Olivier is son of Joan Plowright and Sir Laurence Olivier. He is founder and Artistic Director of Olivier Mythodrama, a form of experiential learning that focuses on the development of authentic leaders.
The “Citizen of the Year” award will be presented to an individual who has made a significant impact in the community. The “Citizen of the Year” award began in 1980, the award is intended to honor a person that has made a substantial contribution to the Pueblo area and as a result the community became a better place to live and work. Nominees must have exhibited leadership in community projects and have completed them successfully, be involved in the betterment of the community and have noteworthy accomplishments. Nominations are now being accepted for the prestigious award. Nominate a person you feel has truly made a difference in our community. Nomination forms can be downloaded from The Greater Pueblo Chamber website or can be picked up at the Chamber Office.
Reservations are now being accepted for the 102nd Annual Meeting. Greater Pueblo Chamber Members, $100 per person, corporate tables of 8, $800 and non-members, $125 per person.
