BUSINESS DURING LUNCH (2nd Thursday of each month) – The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce brings in a speaker each month to talk about what is going on in the community. The sponsor is given 10 minutes to speak and may also hang a banner and hand out materials. Approximately 150 business people attend the luncheons. BUSINESS AFTER HOURS (3rd Thursday of each month) – These events are conducted at the sponsors place of business and feature a relaxed atmosphere where business professionals come to network and socialize. The event can draw anywhere from 150-300 attendees. These opportunities fill up fast, so please call today to reserve your spot!
AMBASSADOR LUNCH (2nd Tuesday of each month) – The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce Ambassador team is made up of Pueblo’s finest businesses professionals. The Ambassadors are “Loaned Executives” from their company who serve the community to make Pueblo a better place to live, visit and conduct business.
ANNUAL DINNER (January 21) – This is a semi formal event where the gavel is passed from the outgoing Chairman of the Board to the incoming Chair elect. The evening is dedicated to honoring the Citizen of the Year and Ambassador of the Year and features a guest speaker, a silent auction fundraiser and 500-600 attendees.
FAT TUESDAY (February 16) – Due to the overwhelming success of this event, the Greater Pueblo Chamber’s annual Fat Tuesday celebration will be held at the Pueblo Convention Center in 2010. The convention center will offer authentic New Orleans cuisine and beverages to be enjoyed while listening and dancing to music by the Creole Zydeco Farmers.
THE PUEBLO CHIEFTAIN BUSINESS EXPO (April 22) - Expo 2010 will take place at the Pueblo Convention Center. This event is for Chamber members to showcase their business to at least 1,500 Pueblo community members.
SMALL BUSINESS AWARDS LUNCHEON (Spring) – This luncheon features the presentation of the Small Business of the Year and the “Charles W. Crews” Business Leader of the Year. The event is held at the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center with 250 business leaders in attendance.
WILD WILD WEST FESTIVAL (May 12-16) – A community event produced by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce, the PBR and HARP, 2009’s inaugural event attracted nearly 60,000 people from throughout the country. Street vendors, live entertainment and community events put on by local non-profits are all rounded out with the main event, a Built Ford Tough Professional Bull Riding event.
NATIONAL LITTLE BRITCHES FINALS RODEO (July 27- Aug 1) – Pueblo is home to the National Little Britches Finals Rodeo. The event has an annual estimated economic impact to our community of more than $10.5 million per year. Sponsors are needed to provide lunches, hotel rooms and funding for scholarships.
GOLF TOURNAMENT (Summer) – The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Golf Tournament provides our members with great networking opportunities in an informal setting. Sponsorship opportunities include tee sponsors, beer carts, breakfast and lunch as well as give-a-ways and auction items.
LEGISLATIVE BBQ (August 27) – The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce kicks off the Colorado State Fair with the annual Legislative Barbecue. This is an opportunity for Pueblo Chamber members to socialize with state, local and federal politicians in an informal setting.
COLORADO STATE FAIR PARADE (August 28) – The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce and its parade committee will present the 2010 Colorado State Fair Parade where 40,000 spectators will enjoy the state's finest floats, marching bands, saddle groups, dancers and much, much more!
16TH ANNUAL LOAF 'N JUG CHILE & FRIJOLES FESTIVAL (September 24-26) – This event just gets bigger and better with age, reaching over 100,000 people in 2009. The crowd, participating vendors, activities and live entertainment make the streets of downtown Pueblo the place to be in Southern Colorado. Sponsorship opportunities are endless.
VETERANS DAY PARADE (November 6) – The Greater Pueblo Chamber honors our Veterans with an Annual Veterans Day Parade. Show your patriotism by becoming a sponsor of this event.
